About the founder

My name is Jordy, and my passion for water and action has been inside me my whole life. I was born and raised in the Dutch village of Grou, a place where watersports are not just a hobby, but a way of life. As a child, I could often be found on the water. Together with family and friends, we regularly headed towards Sneek by boat to waterski and wakeboard. That energy, freedom, and feeling on the water have shaped me from a young age.

Five years ago, I first came into contact with kitesurfing on Curaçao — and from that moment on, I was hooked. The feeling of power, control, and freedom on the water immediately gave me a huge drive to get better. After two lessons, I stood Independent on the board, and I soon knew that this was more than a hobby.

Within two months, I started teaching classes, and after about six months, I was also giving freestyle training. That was the moment I realized: this is what I want to do.

What characterizes me as an instructor is my enthusiasm and my teaching style. I find it important that people feel at ease and grow step by step, at their own pace. Everyone learns differently, and it is precisely that personal touch that makes that I love teaching. It energizes me to see how someone gains confidence and eventually goes out on the water independently.

I am now based in Curaçao, where wind, sun, and sea come together. Here, I have set up my own kitesurfing school — something that suits me perfectly. To me, this doesn't feel like work, but a way of life.

My goal is simple: to introduce you to kitesurfing in a safe, relaxed, and fun way and ensure that you go out on the water with confidence.
Whether you are taking your first steps or want to develop yourself further, I would be happy to help you out.

For me, kitesurfing is freedom, fun, and challenge all in one. And I love sharing that experience with you.
